With the forced relocations of two auto dealerships due to intense downtown development, resulting in lease terminations, the Owner of the franchises turned to a 25-year working relationship with zimmerraystudios. The need for an appropriate center-city site, the challenge of merging direct brand competitors into one facility and the desire to grow while leveraging the greatest efficiency from new construction were all part of the mission of this project.
Critical analyses of manufacturer specific requirements, functional movement, and cost-effective design decisions offered a viable, forward-thinking alternative to the standard suburban style automotive dealership.
The six-story, 405,000 square foot concrete structure is exactingly customized to accommodate the dimensional demands of the auto sales and service industry, while also offering a highly organized arrangement that can adaptively house myriad of potential uses in the future assuring the long-term viability of this real estate investment.
